What is the Fast Six Screen?
The Fast Six Screen is a comprehensive sexual health screen. It is suitable for men and women who want fast results. This screen comprises tests for all the STIs for which we can report your results back the same day that your sample is received in our laboratory.
You should wait 28 days since your last potential exposure before having this test.

Which STIs are tested for?
Our Fast Six Screen tests for:
- HIV I/II and the p24 antigen
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
Which samples are needed?
Our Fast Six Screen requires a simple blood and urine sample only. No uncomfortable swabs will need to be taken. You should be able to produce a urine sample at your appointment, so we advise not to go to the toilet for 2 hours before your appointment.
How do I get my results?
Following your appointment, your samples will be sent to our CPA accredited laboratory for fast and accurate analysis. You will receive your results on the same day that your samples arrive at our testing laboratory.
Once all your results are ready, one of Better2Know’s Sexual Health Advisors will contact you. You will also be able to view your results in your secure online Patient Area whenever you choose.
What happens if I test positive?
If your test results show that you have Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea or Syphilis, Better2Know can help to arrange a doctor’s consultation and any prescription to cure the infection.
In the case of a reactive HIV or Hepatitis result, this may require referral to a specialist. Our dedicated Patient Services team will ensure you can access the appropriate medical advice, support and treatment.
